It seems that anchor graphics are everywhere lately… logos, jewelry, fabrics, tattoos, the list goes on. Since I have an obsession with anything ocean/maritime and am fascinated by symbols that become trends, I felt like looking around the good ol’internet at different ways people are using them. One detailed, blue, line-art anchor spoke to me. I immediately had to track down who the artist was.
His name is Jean-Charles Desevre and he lives (appropriately) in Paris and Normandy, France. His art has an undeniable time-honored look to it and his complex symmetry is mesmerizing. I found myself clicking to zoom into the detailed image until I could zoom no further. Anyway, I thought you’d appreciate this share. See more of his work on his website as well as dribbble!

The Bubbler is a place we put all of the project bragging, inspirational, technical and sometimes witty moments which bubble to the surface while working in the design world and playing around our fine coastal city, Portland, Maine.
